Die Grundrechte

An exhibition by BBK Frankfurt

On 18 September 2026 at 7 pm, the exhibition “Democracy and Freedom: Fundamental Rights” will open at the BBK Gallery in Frankfurt.

22 artists explore Articles 1–19 of the German Constitution, addressing freedom, dignity, equality and the rights that protect our society.

I am participating with my work “Secrecy of Correspondence”, inspired by Article 10. At a time when privacy and personal freedom are constantly being renegotiated, I believe it is especially important not to take our fundamental rights for granted, but to consciously protect and preserve them.

The exhibition will be on view until 1 November 2026, before continuing as part of the WDC programme.

Opening: 18 September 2026, 7 pm
Opening hours: Thursday–Sunday, 3–6 pm
BBK Gallery / THE ARTS CORNER
Hanauer Landstraße 89, 60314 Frankfurt

And if you can’t make it to the opening: I will be there on 19 September from 3–6 pm as part of the exhibition supervision and would be very happy to see you!
